SaskPower’s Boundary Dam Carbon Capture Facility and Aquistore Tour
Conference participants have the unique opportunity to visit SaskPower’s Boundary Dam Carbon Capture facility in Estevan, Saskatchewan and the Aquistore CO2 injection and storage site. The Boundary Dam CCS Project is the world’s first post combustion CO2 capture from a coal-fired power station. Aquistore is one of only two dedicated CO2 storage sites injecting into a deep water/brine and sandstone formation.

Tour fees include bus transportation to and from Estevan, and lunch at the power plant. Tour limited to 50 attendees.

Important Note: This Tour requires ALL participants to wear PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), and Steel-Toed boots are Required. PPE will be provided, however we will required shoe size in advance of tour.
